Summit OMJ reopens by appointment only
On Tuesday, June 1, 2021, OhioMeansJobs Summit County will begin Phase 2 of its reopening to the public. To ensure customer and employee safety, the office will be open by appointment only. Appointments will be available at the East Tallmadge Ave. location between 8:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Customers will be required to wear a mask to enter the facilities, regardless of vaccination status. Individuals can rely on OhioMeansJobs Summit County as the go-to location for everything workforce: job postings and referrals, career counseling, workshops, training and education, skill and aptitude testing, and more. Robust virtual career services such as orientation, workshops, job fairs and recruitments are available for individuals to access from the comfort of their own home. The Resource Room is an abundant source of information for finding jobs, from learning how to do an online search for positions to arranging interviews. The Business Services Team is also available for employers’ recruiting and hiring needs, whether they are looking to conduct an online recruitment or an onsite job fair.
