Connect Summit County – Internet Access for Summit County Citizens
Connect Summit County provides internet access to citizens of Summit County to improve their quality of life. Due to COVID 19, access to traditional services that were provided face to face have now gone virtual and low-income households have limited access to necessary services provided in the community.
Connect Summit County will provide eligible families with active T-Mobile hotspots and Windows laptops for
- Employment tools for job search and job placement
- Accessing educational opportunities for both youth and adults
- Medical services through online appointments, telehealth, and finding vaccine sites online
- Creating and maintaining small business /entrepreneurship opportunities
- Finding available resources and assistance with food, housing, and childcare
The program is available to Summit County, Ohio residents only.
Eligibility:
- A minor child must reside in applicant’s household
- Household income limit is 200% Federal Poverty Level
